Reading lots of stuff about how the Republicans want us to lower the bar to the ground on what our expectations will be for the Palin/Biden debate. Ugh.
I agree with this writer from Salon.com:

And as unpleasant as it may be to watch the humiliation of a woman who waltzed into a spotlight too strong to withstand, I flat out refuse to be manipulated into another stage of gendered regress -- back to the pre-Pelosi, pre-Hillary days when girls couldn't stand the heat and so were shooed back to the kitchen."

Yo... can you believe that she actually winked at the camera when she was talking about what a big mess we are all in, thanks to the Republicans! The only thing she didn't say that was pre-written was '...and world peace.'
